Attraction Theory Defined
The Law of Attraction
The idea that you move towards what you think about. Thoughts breed thoughts alike. One thought leads to the next which leads to the next, which ultimately leads to action on your part. Of course this process often goes unnoticed because of the fact that we as humans rarely judge the origins of our actions and decision making. In attracting women, it should come as no surprise that your thoughts must be directed towards success with women. You must foresee it happening and expect it to happen. If these thoughts are held vividly and long enough, you will have beautiful women in your life.
Cat String Theory
Visit our Cat String Theory page
This theory is based on the observation that when you dangle a string just out of reach of a cat, it will do everything in its power to get the string. However, as soon its prize has been won and the cat has the string in its grasp, it will quickly lose interest. Applied to attraction and seduction the thought is to demonstrate value while remaining the prize just out of reach. This creates anticipation and her pursuit of you.
Thought Suppression Phenomena
When we try to suppress certain information, it is often an impossible feat. For example right now I would like you to NOT THINK OF A RED BEAR. Notice that no matter how hard you try, the image of a red bear popped into your head. This can be useful in putting images into a women’s head that make you seem more attractive.
Controlled vs. Automatic Processing
When you engage in any behavior you are using both automatic and controlled processing. An automatic process is something you do without thinking. Breathing is a good example of this. Controlled processing requires a conscious effort such as choosing the right words to speak. When gaining knowledge in the game, as with most all learning processes, the application starts as a controlled process and ideally becomes an automatic process.
This is also described as techniques vs. attributes.
3 Second Rule
When seeing an attractive women you wish to pursue, it is crucial to approach her within three seconds. The first and most important reason is that if you wait longer than three seconds, your mind will engage in ego protection and try to convince you of all the reasons you should not approach. The second reason is that as soon as a women has seen even a glimpse of your motive, she will expect you to approach immediately. If you do not approach immediately, she will assume you to be weak and unsure of yourself.
Visit our False Time Constraint page
When a stranger approaches a group of people there are generally two thoughts that go through the groups mind. "Who is this person?" and "How long are they going to stay?". If you anticipate this rejection you can use a false-time constraint immediately after approaching (Ex. "I can only stay for a second but....") and alleviate the group from being concerned about how long you are going to stay. Of course once this discomfort is alleviated and you have won the group over, the time constraint is no longer relevant.
Law of Scarcity
The law of scarcity is simply that when someone perceives something that they desire to be in limited quantity, the perceived value of that thing or person becomes much greater than if were widely available.
Frame Control
The ability to control the looking glass of reality in the favor of the observer. This concept is similar to constructed reality.
The Hungry Don't Get Fed
The basic principle of this concept holds that acts of desperation are met with discontent. When you convey desperation, the energy that emanates from you invades the energy of others. People who feel the presence of this burdensome energy will make an effort to reclaim their enteric homeostasis and either remove themselves or get you to leave.
Find the Flaw
Finding the flaw is a way to mentally lower a women’s value in your own eyes by finding a physical or emotional flaw in her. This reduces her value in so much that your expressed behavior is high status and ultimately more attractive.
Hoop Theory (credit mystery)
Believe it or not, human beings are equipped with tools to test the strength of other human beings. Physical strength is often measured easily and objectively but mental strength is measured differently and more abstractly. People will test the will of others by presenting hoops for them to jump through. If you can get someone to do something for you, you in turn made them jump through your hoop and have demonstrated a superiority over them.
Cognitive Warm-up
The concept that your mind takes time to warm up and gain clarity and sharpness. This is also considered a technique in which you practice warming your mind up.
Group Theory (credit Mystery)
-when approaching a set of people, rather than approaching target female, approach the group as a whole. You want to win over the whole group while paying less attention to the target female. This in turn will make her inclined to win you over as well.
Video Game Theory
The theory holds that this game of attracting women can be described as a video game without a save button. The generally idea is that in every new set of women you approach, you start at square one; and continue through a specific set of levels before a sexual relationship has developed. And like a video game, you practice and get better until you beat the game.
Pre-selection
This evolutionary theory was developed when scientists inquired about the mating game in animals. They discovered that when a male grouse who was not mating with any females was put next to a stuffed female grouse, other females starting mating with him. This phenomena was later uncovered in human behavior as well. Furthermore, a women’s attraction for you increases when she sees that you have already been pre-selected by other women. It should come as no surprise that there comes a priceless benefit of being seen with attractive female.
Law of Large Numbers
The law of large numbers holds that the more women you meet, the higher probability you will have in attracting one. The law of large numbers is often applied when attempting to seek out a short term relationship. This is so because it generally places value on “quantity” over ”quality” Nonetheless, if applied correctly, it can be a potent way to attract some women.
Constructed Reality Theory
This theory is a product of the postmodern psychology movement. It is based on the premise that the map is not the territory in the human mind. Human memory, reasoning and subjective reality is never an exact replication of real-world reality. For that reason, this theory holds that we have the ability to construct our own meaningful realities that emphasize personal growth rather than accuracy.
Attribution Theory
This theory developed within the field of psychology holds that we often attribute behaviors of others differently from behaviors of our own. More specifically we attribute the behaviors of others as trait based attributes (He is a lazy person) and we attribute behaviors of own to circumstances (I feel lazy because I didn't sleep last night).
Stage Theory
Stage theories in general describe how we go through distinct stages as we develop. Thus, rather than gradually changing, we typically make sudden shifts to different plateaus of perception and behavior. This may be associated with 'aha's of sudden understanding.
