Dan Lawson has always had a passion for personal physical development, and that’s why he is the Director of Fitness at Attractology.
However, it was while Dan was recovering from a major leg injury after graduating from the University of Washington that he was inspired to help others achieve their fitness goals.
Dan suffered a “spiral fracture” and required surgery to repair numerous breaks in his tibia and fibula.
Due to swelling and pain, Dan was unable to leave his couch for more than a few minutes at a time. As time went on, the pain diminished and he was able to get out of the house on crutches and gradually resume his active lifestyle. Once cleared by his physician, Dan began physical therapy to mobilize his leg and increase stability and flexibility.
But it wasn’t until Dan started working out one-on-one with a personal trainer that he began to truly regain his strength and feel like himself again.
Inspired by his journey, from injury and a lengthy recovery back to strength, Dan went back to school to become a certified personal trainer.
Today, Dan enjoys working with clients of all types.
From those who are recovering from injury – or want to change their sedentary ways – to athletes looking to increase strength, endurance and flexibility.
Because every client is different, Dan creates a custom program for each individual based on their needs, interest and abilities. And no two workouts are ever the same – so getting fit becomes fun rather than a chore.
